Final Texas Screening – Houston
The final Texas Red Tent Movie screening is tonight in Houston! The tour has been full of amazing women and truly wonderful nights of women coming together to share in a movie and then share of themselves as well as give to themselves within the Red Tent afterwards. Whether you have been to a Red Tent before or not…it is so worth attending.

What a great way to kick off the weekend. Even a great way to show your mom you care and what she means to you to bring her out to the movie and gathering.
Filmmaker Isadora Leidenfrost will be available for Q&A and signings. Following the film, women and girls are also invited to participate in an on-site Red Tent experience.
This event will be held in A.R.E. Houston, 7800 Amelia Rd., Houston 77055.
The film begins at 6:30pm. Red Tent experience to follow at 8:00pm.
Tickets – $15-20

Spontaneous and organic, a Red Tent is a red textile space where women and girls gather to rest, renew, and often share deep and powerful stories about their lives. The Red Tent movement is changing the way that women interact and support each other by providing a place that honors and celebrates women, and by enabling open conversations about the things women don’t want to talk about in other venues. The documentary film “Things We Don’t Talk About: Women’s Voices from the Red Tent” weaves together healing narratives from inside Red Tents around the world to shine a spotlight on this vital, emergent women’s tradition.
What a wonderful time we are in. Seems women around the world are rising up and ready for change both in their own lives and those around them. Are you creating a nest in your world?

I have found a wonderful community of women here in the Houston area which I plan to attend more events with. Have you heard of Brigid’s Place? Wow! I attended the Brigid’s Feast and then the Women’s Seder dinner and both just blew me away. Please consider taking some “me” time to attend
